Another Before and after...

3190.jpg

3191.jpg

A before and after from this afternoon at 1:30 PM behind our housing development.

Shot with RAW + L Jpeg. A 580 EX II with pocket wizards.

The rest you may never know:).

I did change a bit on her face also, made her sort of happier and took away some funky face shadows.

And for all of you raw shooters out there asking why I shoot Jpeg for all of my sessions, it fits my workflow better, unless you would like to share how you store, file and process these monster files! yipes!

This is nice, but you could save yourself a LOT of work in Photoshop if you'd just put a CTO gel on your strobe and set your white balance to tungsten. You'd get a nice warm light on her face and the background would go blue. Same effect, but it would be correct in-camera.

Check out www.strobist.com for more on this.

Nice work, as always.

Lauren, this is beautiful. You are so good at the photoshop stuff. I don't know how to do it very well and I get eager to learn when I see shots like this or like the ones Nate does. It is such a stunning picture of your sister. I'm going to try doing a cool photoshop pic, but I'm already feeling embarrassed of what it will look like compared to yours.
Lovely job darling...

How do you get your wonderful colors so saturated?? Is this using the Jesh De Rox or are you doing this in photoshop???? Your photography is wonderful. Millie photographed our daughter's wedding and she will be a model in the Love Affair workshop. Phyllis
