Aaron and Nicole

Yesterday I got to photograph another amazing couple! It snowed all day, I'm telling you, this is the end of the world weather here in Lubbock. The last couple of days it would snow, be 60, be 70, snow, snow, snow! During our shoot it would srop snowing and warm up about 20 degrees and then start snowing the most beautiful snowflakes ever (in the warm weather!). Anyway, here is another session shot in raw, edited in raw.

I am swaying to the dark side...

I never thought I'd see the day when LC turned to RAW! I'm liking it though. You haven't lost any of your wonderful color. I'd love a post on your new workflow. Has it quickened with RAW?

Lauren these shots are awesome as usual, and how pretty can one couple be? Man they are hot!

These are awesome! I would have never guessed it snowed. I love the colors and my favorite is the girl laying down with the guys head cut off. That sounds weird...but I don't know how else to describe it. Beautiful job!

These are ammmmmmazing as always.. but the 1st shot is phenomenal. It seriously took my breath away. Also, I LOVE the darkness of the pictures... super hot!

abigail, I am working on a 32 inch lcd right now and I just realized that my screen isn't calibrated! Ahhhh! These pictures were way more awesome on my computer than they are on Josh's Mac. They weren't supposed to be that dark!

Sooooo....Are you LOVING raw yet?! I think all of us raw shooters at Love Affair were contagious. :)

Hey Lauren -
I had a similar problem recently with my new MacBook Pro. The colors were AMAZING on the screen but when I downsized them for web it totally sucked the color out of them. I was so sad.. still haven't quite figured it out yet. But I'm hoping my new Spyder can calibrate both monitors to match each other.

Also, do you mind me asking where you got the awesome orange flowered chair from a few months ago when you posted pics of your office? It was a unique flower pattern. I just saw that fabric in an Anthropologie catalog and I'm hoping that's NOT where you got it b/c I don't want to spend that! ha ha.. I have a chair I need recovered and that fabric would be the bomb.

thanks so much -

mackenzie,
I'm now sure what chair you are talking about. I don't have any orange flowardy ones. Where did you see it?

Love these shots -- are you a JPG-to-RAW convert now? :)

Great shots & post processing! Are you using a flash or just natural light? I recently came upon your blog & look forward to checking it daily.
