The Projects- 3

So for my project this month I was totally feeling ANTM, but really, when am I not?

Meet Sean. This hottie is a senior at Coronado and was picked for her edgy look and willingness to do anything. It was just Sarah Huffman, myself and my new rental that I don't want to let go (the 24mm!). All of these shots were done with the 24mm 1.4. Ordering that one next week!

Sean had her boyfriend, Matt, come meet us at the very end. We got some awesome images of them together too.

Backyard fun...

I'm taking it a little bit easy today. I'm still working, but nothing too serious, just checking emails and blogging. I made 3 album designs and shot a session yesterday so I am going to a movie to relax with mom and Josh!"Mr. Bean's Holiday". Should be fun.

So here are a few new shots of the doggies in the backyard with the 135mm 2.0!

London torments Meridian and never lets her play with her toys. I bought 2 rawhides and  London steals both of them and throws one far away from Meridian. She's the alpha for sure, even thought Meridian is 3 years older!

OK, JUST IN! I got the 24mm 1.4 in the mail (a rental to decide if I want it ot not). I LOVE it! Look how cool these turned out!

Christmas in August.

So yesterday I thought, "what if I got all new gear?"

This led to a series of events that is still happening today...

- I impulsively sold my 70-200mm IS on my blog to a lovely photographer in Utah.

- I bought a 135mm 2.0 and 200mm 2.8 with overnight shipping from B&H.

- Today I sold my 100mm macro and am trying to sell my 50mm 1.4 (again, on a whim).

- Just ordered another small video light, a 50mm 1.2 and a 50mm 2.8 macro with overnight shipping.

And look what just arrived minutes ago!

Maybe I'll sell my house while I'm at it! ha! This is how we do things around here, on whims! A funny story- one day my mom told me that we should look into buying a house. The next morning I picked the house and we signed the papers on it that afternoon. This could get me into real trouble, but it has been a blessing so far!

Tonight I got to do my first "Trash the Dress" Session with Erica and Zane. Although we didn't light it on fire, drench it in the ocean or paint in it, we did get some really cool images in the west Texas dirt! Here are my favorites...

Whitney and Andrew Bell were married this last weekend at Westminster Presbyterian Church here in Lubbock. Their reception followed at the Texas Tech Football Stadium. These two are just precious and love the Lord more than anything!
