not your normal insurance guy...
I am a very strange thinker. If I'm driving and not talking to you, then you know that I'm thinking about how I could die or become injured in car wrecks, plane crashes, freak accidents and kitchen burns. I am always "trying" to prepare myself for the worst, so I won't freak when it really does happen. Magen says I'm pretty morbid in my mind. I agree!
Anyway, right before we went skiing in Snoqualmie I was thinking of how I would escape an avalanche (thanks for the awkward A suggestion Sarah!), recover from a broken leg, or get pummeled by another skier. My brother started telling me that he sales personal accident insurance through Aflac.
I love Aflac's commercials but never thought that I could get a policy because it was for big businesses, you know their slogan, "Ask about it at work". Well what if your bedroom is your work? He went on to say that a personal policy for me would only be $45/month! Cool! That's like, what, 1 4x6 and 1 8x10 a month!
So if you didn't know that you can get accident insurance (something self-employed people really need, I mean who wouldn't want to have the check sent directly to them instead of to the Blue Cross Blue Shield?), then call my brother- 206-853-0957. He is awesome, and is the coolest, hippest guy in Seattle.
Go and get a policy, it pays you while you're hurt, or dead, or pummeled by a skier! I sure as heck would get one from him if I lived in Washington state!
My brother and Jackson...
My brother is just the best brother around and I wanted you all to know that he is definitely highly recommended and a very trustworthy Insurance Salesman!
Headed out again!
After coming home last night at 9, I saw my husband for a few hours and now I'm off again! I am driving to Ennis, Texas to spend the night with some of my favorite people, the Howards, and then in the morning I'm going to Jesh's workshop in Dallas!
I will be answering all of my emails/calls when I get home on Friday and Saturday.
Seattle Part 1
Day 1: Magen and I woke up to Jackson's "Aunt Wowwie and Aunt MayMay are here!!!"
We took a stroll to the Public Market and the first Starbuck's (Magen and I both worked at Starbucks in college), Jenice purchased a humongous salmon and we headed back home to see my brother Chris. After Jackson's nap and some really good lunch we went to Discovery Park. That place was SO cool! We came back and had the best Salmon I've ever had!

Day 2: We woke up early and headed out to Snoqualmie Summit to ski. It was pretty miserable. I do say. It started snowing inches on us in 10 degree weather. I had to give up half way through the day because I was soooo cold!
Day 3: Our last day there we went down to the Piers and had supper at Anothony's and I hung out with the photographer's below!
Thanks Chris and Jenice for letting us come and stay with ya'll!
Seattle Part 2
Ethan and Elijah

Yesterday after my trainer, Kristin Bozic, at Bodyworks made me sweat buckets I went over to our friends the Braun's house to take some playing pictures of their kids. It was hard! This is why I don't do many kids! I don't have a fast enough finger to keep them in focus with all of their running and playing! Thanks Aimee for letting me take these!
